Design | Khaore redefines the art of the accessory.

Updated: Jan 16, 2018

I came across this exciting new NYC designer accessories label - introducing Khaore and their artistic reimagining of the humble accessory.

Their neoteric perspective redefines the simple clutch and goes a long way in showing that sustainable can be chic.

Scroll down to see & read more.

The debut collection, titled ‘Roadside’, features gorgeous bags with unusual lines and sci-fi styling, suggesting an inspiration that’s equally borne of the streets of New York & the vistas of Alpha Proxima.

Designers Wei Hung Chen and Raiheth Rawla make a fascinating play of silhouettes, texture & shape, such as jute fashioned into sleek strokes and crafted with stainless steel eyelets. The collection has a unique Star/Street Trek appeal that has me going “beam me up!”.

And true to the brand’s refreshing take on sustainability, each collection will have a limited run (100 pieces for each of the five styles) and ensures zero artistic degradation as well as delicious exclusivity.

Can an everyday object become art, yet be functional and sustainable?

The answer lies in Roadside by Khaore and the answer is a resounding yes.

Some accessories & bespoke creations for the gentlemen would not be remiss.
