Queen of Estonian pop has returned and seen fit to bestow us with a proclamation. Namely, in the form of brand new music. Here is Waterfall:
Sleek and snyth-laden, this '80s-tinged track is another bop in the basket for the Estonian songstress. True to the title, the sweeping melody simply washes over you in a cascade of retro production and vocoder flourishes. It hints at the style of award-winning composer/producer Sven Lõhmus... perhaps this was intended for Eesti Laul?
Speaking of, stay tuned for reviews on the 2018 lineup of Eesti Laul, which was unveiled a few days ago. For now, relish what could have been an epic attempt at redemption.
